Mereka juga belajar tentang kearifan hidup lewat hikayat-hikayat yang disenandungkan bapak Inong. Keakraban mereka terus terjalin, hingga Keumala pun mengajak Langit untuk tak sekedar berlayar di kapal tapi melanjutkan perjalanan ke Sabang, melanjutkan pencarian tentang senja terindah di nol kilometer Indonesia.

Di Sabang, Keumala justru dibenturkan lagi oleh pertanyaan-pertanyaan tentang cinta. Setelah ia mengetahui ia justru divonis menderita retinitis pigmentosa, sebuah penyakit menurun yang bisa berujung pada kebutaan.
